Summer term – 7 sessions, May-June 2022

All are welcome to come and sing with People of Note community choir for our Summer Term 2022! Our newly appointed leader Rosie Sleightholme will be running 7 sessions, building up songs over the term. All sessions are in Southville with most at St Paul’s, Southville. There is one date when it’s not available so you’ll be informed about another local venue .
The sessions start at 7.30pm and we ask you to be there in good time to register and settle in.
Rosie will start fully leading the choir in September 2022 at which point you’ll be asked to sign up for the term. Whilst it’s preferable to come for the whole block so you won’t miss any teaching, we’re keeping things flexible over this transition period. If you can’t make all the sessions it will be possible to book onto individual sessions, in due course. You will get access to learning tracks to listen to at home.
We’d love new and old members to come and sing with us as we begin our new journey with our wonderful new leader. We are a Natural Voice choir, meaning that all songs are taught by ear and there is no need to read music. We sing songs from all over the world, and Rosie’s main aim is to bring people together to experience the joy of singing in harmony.
We hope to sing with you soon!
